Like all Mountain Buggy strollers, the Terrain is built tough. It features a solid aluminum frame, air-filled tires, and a suspension system to keep the ride smooth. Unlike other strollers in its class, however, the Mountain Buggy Terrain features a fully-reclining seat which allows you to use it with a newborn. This feature gives the stroller greater longevity -- you can use it for walking and everyday strolling with a newborn, unlike other running strollers. When your child is old enough to join in on the jog (usually between 6-9 months; please check with your pediatrician before starting), the Terrain is ready for you.
